June 21st New Arrivals!

New Arrivals!

Short's Brewing Company

Freedom of '78: Freedom of ’78 is a medium-bodied IPA brewed with guava. This IPA is bright and clear with a pleasing bronze hue. The beers aroma is a unique fusion of citrus fruit and subtle pine. The distinct characteristics of the guava nectar are impossible to miss with flavors of tangerine, nectarine, and even faint honey detectable. The finish is bitter and dry.

Ommegang

Queen of the Seven Kingdoms: A beer for Cersei. This is an exquisite blend of sour ale and Belgian-style blonde ale. It pours a pale golden hue with a brilliant white head, while notes of citrus and melon meld with hints of apricot over a malty base. This is the second in Ommegang's Royal Reserve series. These are beers representing what a court brewer would offer a noble Lord or Lady: perfect balance and pure drinking pleasure.

Innis & Gunn

Rum Aged Beer: This ruby red beer has been aged with rum oak chips, resulting in a brew with a delicious warming character that is bursting with fruit and warming spiciness. These vibrant flavours perfectly balance the beer's toffee-malt backbone which have led it to win numerous awards around the world. Most recently Innis & Gun Rum Aged won Grande Gold at Monde Selection 2012.

Revolution Brewing

Tropic-Hero: This American IPA is brewed with 2-row and Pale malts to establish a smooth malt profile and golden color. Revolution used Apollo, Warrior, Crystal, Cascade and Amarillo hops in the brewhouse to achieve an intense but clean bitterness and aromas and flavors of fresh flowers and citrus juice.
Near the end of fermentation Revolution dry-hopped this beer with Mosaic, Citra, Crystal, and Sabro to infuse this IPA with notes of coconut, pineapple and freshly grated citrus rind!
The resulting beer is both clean and crisp, bursting with tropical fruit character and very easy drinking even at 70 IBUs and 7% ABV.

Freedom of Speach: Freedom of Speach is naturally soured in the brew kettle and fermented out dry with a lower alcohol level. Our easy-drinking session sour demonstrates a clean tartness, balanced out by an assembly of ripe peach flavor. Exercise your right to refreshment.

Odd Side Ales

Pineapple Tangerine & Cherry Fruitsicle: We got another drop! Come grab your preferred fruited lactose sour while it lasts.

Stone Brewing

Fear. Movie. Lions.: New England-Style IPAs are all the rage. Fans of Stone repeatedly ask for our take on the style, which can be met with some criticism. Rooted in West-Coast style IPAs for decades, how would we do it? Fear no more. Our brewers took the approach to deliver incredibly hoppy and aromatic flavor while keeping it very balanced, and upping the alcohol unnoticeably - nailing this astounding one-of-a-kind creation.
Overall this unfiltered double IPA is juiced up with massive tropical & citrus notes. The mild bitterness and relatively dry body compliment the style, and the residual maltiness nicely rounds it out. Lingering lime peel and tropical fruit derived from the hops stand out on the finish, begging one to seek out more.
What 3 words pinpoint where this beast was born? The location is printed on the can.

Griffin Claw Brewing Company (GCBC)

Bonnie's Raggedy-Ass IPA: Our 2010 World Beer Cup Silver award winner. Brewed and dry-hopped with American hops, Centennial, Columbus, Cascades and Bravo. 9.5% abv. 90 IBU.

Merry Edwards Winery

2016 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc: The translucent, aurora-gold hue of this wine predicts what’s to come in the glass. Mouthwatering and luscious, its aroma overflows with tree-ripened fruit – nectarine, quince, peach and Fuji apple – as well as a hint of floral perfume and tropical notes of ripe, juicy pineapple, passion fruit, papaya and mango. Sophistication has come early for this wine with a strong impression of developing minerality.

In the mouth, it’s round, lush and vibrantly balanced across the palate. Richness and weight counterbalance bright acidity supported by flavors of tangerine, lemon zest, candied orange peel and sweet pink grapefruit. The finish is luxurious, lingering on well beyond any rational expectation.

2014 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir Georganne: This ruby-colored beauty has an exuberant fragrance of fresh raspberry, elderberry and blueberry, along with a hint of violet. As the wine opens, more dark fruits unfold in a rich progression along with bramble berry pie touched with allspice, cinnamon and cardamom. Subtle vanilla and lightly toasted oak frame the fruit, adding opulence, along with savory notes of mushroom and fresh earth.

On the palate, this Georganne is sleek with smooth, fine-grained tannins. As this vineyard enters her second decade, she’s showing a refined elegance and a bit of smoky mystery on the finish. All of this bodes well for a long life for those who can wait!
